This practice is designed to gently encourage your nervous system to register safety and peace. This is your BIRTHRIGHT!!
Throughout our lives, our nervous systems shift towards self-protection and, often, they get stuck there, even after the eminent threatening situation or person is long gone. Here, you will have the opportunity to use pranayama (breath work), asana (movement and body positioning) and meditation to reconnect with your baseline: GROUNDED and TRANQUIL. Not to worry, your nervous system will continue to protect you when it needs to, that is how we are built.
These classes are for you if:
-You feel tense, anxious, and stressed out in situations and among people that are safe and this causes you distress.
-You have a history of trauma, such as interpersonal trauma, medical/health trauma, or loss of any kind.
